So, presumably you would need to take your computer in to have your battery swapped if you have an integrated battery that can't be user-removed. Here's what I found, though, HP says if the white LED light that is next to the AC adapter is blinking, it's a battery problem. I can't uninstall the battery, and the other person that had the same issue tried all the other trouble-shooting steps. When I looked through the forums here, people mentioned some troubleshooting steps such as uninstalling drivers and uninstalling the battery. However, when I look at the advanced information, I can see that one of my three battery cells is at zero charge. It's not the adapter, and my battery check passes when I run the HP utility. The issue had already been answered with an accepted answer that did not solve the users question, so I am re-asking it here in the forum to give a better answer that is approved by HP (I found it on their support site). Someone mentioned that their HP Spectre notebook had a constantly blinking white led light next to where the ac adapter plugs in. ![]()
